Max visits partner: SCHUBERTH

As a thoroughbred racing driver, Maximilian Günther cannot live without motor racing even in the summer break, so during this quiet period, the German Prema Powerteam driver took the opportunity to visit the headquarters of an important partner, helmet manufacturer SCHUBERTH. Janine Wasgindt and Peter Hoffmann, Head of the Car Racing Division, welcomed him to Magdeburg and gave him a tour of the factory.

“It was very interesting to finally see for myself how helmets are developed and produced. It’s absolutely crucial for a racing driver to protect his head properly, and I’m pleased that I can always rely on mine. It’s so impressive what SCHUBERTH are doing here in Magdeburg, and I’m proud that this high-end helmet manufacturer has been one of my closest partners for many years,” said Maximilian Günther.

After a very full guided tour and extensive discussions with the team at SCHUBERTH, Janine Wasgindt and Peter Hoffmann presented Maximilian Günther with another helmet for the upcoming races in the FIA Formula 3 European championship which was again custom-painted by JMD Jens Munser Design and will soon be put into use; Maximilian Günther’s next outing in the world’s best junior formula racing series will be at the Nürburgring, 9th – 11th September.

Motor sport has always played an important role for helmet manufacturer SCHUBERTH. The Magdeburg-based company develops a wide range of helmets for motor racing, including for Fomula 1 stars, gaining valuable knowledge in the process that is constantly used in mass production. For that reason, SCHUBERTH also sponsor young talents like Maximilian Günther on their way up into the top echelons of motor racing.
