Maximilian Günther and DS PENSKE unveil DS E-TENSE FE25

Maximilian Günther gears up for Formula E’s 11th season as DS PENSKE unveils 2024-25 Gen3 Evo challenger, the DS E-TENSE FE25

As the countdown for Season 11 of the FIA Formula E World Championship continues, Maximilian Günther and DS PENSKE today launched the team’s 2024/25 Gen3 Evo racing car, the DS E-TENSE FE25.

Emblazoned in a timeless black livery with gold accents – a colour palette synonymous with the DS PENSKE brand – the DS E-TENSE FE25 represents a new era of innovation for the team as Formula E enters its next generation of competition with the Gen3 Evo.

Featuring the latest developments from the electric vehicle industry, the fully electric DS E-TENSE FE25 is at the apex of performance and with an innovative All-Wheel-Drive system, will be more efficient in comparison to its Gen3 counterpart.

Capable of going from 0-60mph in only 1.82 seconds, the DS E-TENSE FE25 is 30% faster than a modern Formula 1 car, while also featuring jaw-dropping regenerative braking capabilities of 600kW.

Formula E’s 11th season, which officially gets underway on 7 December 2024 with the São Paulo E-Prix, will mark Max’s seventh campaign in the series and his first back in the DS PENSKE fold since beginning his Formula E career with the team in 2018.

Last season saw Max, from Oberstdorf, Germany, emerge as an early World Championship contender following a victory in Tokyo, Japan, and podium at Misano, Italy, with the 27-year-old finishing eighth in the standings.

Max’s preparations for Season 11 will get underway on 4-7 November 2024 with pre-season testing at the Circuit Ricard Tormo in Valencia, Spain.

Maximilian Günther, DS PENSKE Racing Driver:
“I’m super excited for the new season ahead and really enjoying the preparation with the team. My first few weeks and months have been brilliant, and the car is feeling spectacular. It drives beautifully and it looks fast so I can’t wait to get behind the wheel for the first official test in Valencia and then the first race of the season in São Paulo. We’ve worked hard over the offseason to make our package as competitive as possible, everyone is in the same mindset, driven by passion and with a clear ambition of what we want to achieve. I can’t wait to get Season 11 started.”
